For this project, I focused on speculative design; I had to address a problem and create a solution to combat it. My idea was to tackle food waste through targeting produce waste. Produce that would otherwise be thrown away due to various factors such as dented packaging and misshaped fruit. I created Refruit along with branding, advertisements, and packaging for it. With Refruit, unwanted fruit becomes smoothie tablets right in front of consumers in the produce section of stores.
